Demonstration of abstract landscape painting with a brush and palette knife.
Colors used here are black and white
In this painting I'm creating a landscape from black and white acrylic paints.
For the sky, colors are black and I'm using a 2 inch chip brush to easily spread the paint across the canvas
The trees are created using a mop brush and dabbing in the white paint and gradually mixing with patches of black paint that should still be slightly wet.
I'm using palette knife with white paint to represent the moon, and then carrying the white paint down through the water to indicate a reflection.
I hope you enjoy.
