Using portrait studies by renowned artist Graig Kreindler, "The Painter of the National Pastime," this film chronicles the story of Black Baseball from its 19th century origins through the rise of the Negro Leagues and their role in the reintegration of MLB. It was commissioned by Jay Caldwell as an accompaniment to his book of the same title and premiered at the St. Petersburg Museum of History in February 2023.
