The end of his story is obviously sad, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't look back with a smile. Here is the epic story of Kobe Bryant! From high school all the way to the Utah game! (no, I do not get into the helicopter crash. As I said, keeping things upbeat for the most part). Set to a soundtrack that includes Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Public Enemy, Underachievers and even Pink Floyd and Foo Fighters, the question you will have on your mind watching is WHAT track is going to come next!

For his entire twenty year career I could not stand Kobe Bryant. On a scale of 1 through 10, my hatred towards him was at an easy 10. But the shock and sadness of his death along with his daughter did mellow out my feelings towards him slightly. I would say the number dropped to a seven (which is a pretty decent drop after two decades of being at the top of the scale).

I wanted to follow up Northern Uprising with something epic. The story of Kobe Bryant obviously fits that desire. With my dislike dropping a touch, I was able to move forward to tell his story. Now that I have completed my journey making Black Mamba, I can say that my hatred has completely disappeared. After two decades of being at a "Ten", I am now at a "One". I still won't be rushing out to buy his jersey, but I do have respect for the man and his game.

With some attention given to his relationship with Shaquille O'Neal, Phil Jackson and Vanessa Bryant, I hope you enjoy the movie. Please excuse some of the video quality, I get what I can from youtube.

Let me know what you think of "Black Mamba" and any help sharing it around is appreciated.
