We got tired of the old wire/cable system that was in place for our blackberry bushes. So we decided to try something new and unique. This design should hold the canes in place without needing to tie them to a fence or wire as the grow taller and taller. Winter time pruning will be a breeze since we still have full access to the ground under the trellis. Landscape fabric and pine mulching will keep grass and weeds at bay!
