Heyo! Mizu here.
Due to popular demand I created a little process video for my latest animation piece! This is just a general overview of the techniques I used to make this in blender; if you want me to release an actual tutorial for specific parts of the video, let me know! I’ve only been using Blender for a few days, so this is definitely just the beginning of what I want to make :3
This video only covers my personal process for this specific piece; if you want to learn more about using Blender and grease pencil, please check out Dedouze's (https://www.youtube.com/@dedouze) channel! I used the same colors as his usual pieces to study how he uses lighting in his blender works, and he also has a lot of process videos and tutorials that could get you started on grease pencil.
As for the toon shader, I used this tutorial from Tiptut (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBztmFHkNQo&t=1319s), which you should go watch for yourself to see the mechanics on how it works, and how you can customize it to fit your specific needs.

Also, like I said in my Instagram post, I studied Dedouze’s style for this render; his style is very recognizable and his works are very pretty!
