Blues Improvisation Tips on 3 different styles ✩ Shuffle Blues, Funky Blues, Jazz Blues

Let me demonstrate how to play blues improvisation on 3 different styles.

1) F Shuffle Blues with simple bassline groove. I played "Back at the Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith" Melody and solo around this melody's range and use some triads & BB King ish phrasing. (01:09)

2) E Funky Blues. This style I played more Syncopated rhythmic phrases. Some BB King phrase and using chord tone for outlining chord changes etc. (08:57)

3) Bb Jazz Blues Walking Bassline groove. You can play jazz ii V phrases but I played more simple common tone and typical blues pickup phrase and I harmonized that phrase. (20:15)
