BMW F 800 ST Rehab: How to Drain and Refill the Coolant

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

An MOA member who decided it was time to stop riding donated his 2008 BMW F 800 ST to the MOA Foundation to help further its cause of rider education, training and awareness. Unfortunately, the bike had been sitting for a couple of years before he reached that decision, so it needs a bit of rehab before it's ready for its next owner. In this video, we walk you through the process to drain and refill the coolant. Tools needed: * T30 torx driver + ratchet + extension * Flathead screwdriver (optional) * Torque wrench (for reassembly) * Funnel Supplies needed: * Drain pan that can hold at least 2 liters of fluid * 50/50 mix of BMW coolant and distilled water, approx. 1.3 liters Please visit the organizations and companies making this project possible: BMW MOA - https://www.bmwmoa.org/ BMW MOA Foundation - https://www.bmwmoaf.org/ Twisted Throttle/Denali Lights - https://www.twistedthrottle.com SW-MOTECH USA - https://sw-motech.us/en/ Sargent Cycle Products - https://www.sargentcycle.com/ 5 Sec Crowd Cheer CC BY Mike Koenig | soundbible.com
