I traded in my FK8 Honda Civic Type-R and got this G20 BMW M340i, after 2 months of ownership I want to share my experience with the car and why I got an M340. This is definitely a great balance of performance, tech, luxury, reliability, and fuel economy, and is bang for your buck in terms of value. Not only is it faster, bigger, and more fuel efficient than the Type-R but somehow for a 4000lb car it's way more playful and sets better lap times. If you're in the market for an M340i, don't even hesitate, nothing in its class even comes close.
