►After decades of producing high-revving, naturally aspirated engines, BMW M joined the rest of the performance world with their turbocharged S55B30. Within a short time, the disappointment over the addition of boost was forgotten as the S55 proved to be similarly characterful and much more powerful than any of its predecessors.
