‘Lanka Matha’ is an audiovisual tribute to the great Nation of Sri Lanka and its people. It is also a celebratory token to mark Sri Lanka’s 61st Independence Day celebrations just before the end of the 30 year civil war. The ‘Lanka Matha’ concept was developed by the Ministry of Defence in partnership with Bathiya & Santhush that deliver the message of patriotism and love for one’s motherland.
‘Lanka Matha’ is performed and produced by Bathiya & Santhush, composed by Sri Shyamalangan and written by Shehan Galahitiyawa. The ‘Lanka Matha’ music video was directed by award winning film director Prasanna Jayakody.
