How can I mitigate a shortcut in the FMC? How can I react to a direct to?
Hi! Welcome back to my Boeing 737 instructional videos! In this video we will discuss how to plan a shortcut in the FMC, a step descent due traffic, we will demonstrate how to manage a high energy approach scenario and also how to recover the profile. Finally, we will deal with a scenario of intercepting the glideslope from above into a safe capture of the ILS without incurring on the risk of capturing false glideslope. As usual, if you liked it leave a thumbs up, I want you to excel In flying the 737 so If you have any further questions leave it in the comment and I promise to answer all of you.
!WARNING: demonstration video only for virtual pilots, if you are a real life pilot follow your company approved Standard Operating Procedures and manuals.
