Today on Acrylic Pouring with Friends - Art by Tracie Reed I am doing a test using my new Boiler Maker Cup.
This acrylic pour painting demonstration is intended to be an overview of the Boiler Maker technique. If you would like to learn more about acrylic pouring, discuss how to use this technique, feel free to leave a reply in the comment section below, and I will answer.
The Paints I used:
FolkArt- White Pearl
Liquitex Basics- Quinacridone Magenta and Dioxazine Purple
Soft Gold Mix- DecoArt 24K Gold Mixed with Amsterdam Light Gold
DecoArt Dazzling Metallics- Peacock Pearl
My paints are mixed with my pouring medium, which is 50% Liquitex pouring medium, 40% Floetrol, 5% Golden GAC800 and 5% water.
No silicone was added.
My cloud effect mix is 2oz Behr Satin Enamel Ultra Pure White, 2oz Floetrol, 1oz Vallejo Pearl Medium, 1Tbsp Golden GAC8009 and a cap full of water.
