Hey guys, today I felt like getting a new bonsai.
When that happens, I take a walk through the city’s hedges.
You might not realize what treasures are hidden beneath them.
Pyracantha, in particular, tends to naturally air-layer itself in the soil, and the rushed pruning of municipal gardeners helps by creating unexpected cuts.
The result? A mame bonsai with interesting movement and roots already in place!
