Boosie discussed the recent plea deal of Corey Walker, one of the four men involved in the tragic murder of rising rap star Pop Smoke. Walker, 19 at the time of the crime and now 24, accepted a 29-year plea deal, raising questions about the lifelong impact of youthful decisions. While some of the younger perpetrators reportedly managed to slip through the juvenile justice system cracks, Walker faced adult charges due to his age. Boosie commented on the harsh reality of California’s aggravated assault laws, which typically require convicts to serve a significant portion of their sentence. Boosie expressed astonishment at the lengthy plea, noting the resulting lost years for Walker, who will spend most of his life behind bars.
