Boostline Performance - Street Series 5.7L Dyno Testing - Stock 862/706 heads Vs. Frankenstein Engine Dynamics CNC Ported 862/706 Heads

Our street series 5.7 long block is the logical next step up from the base 5.3. We utilize the same 5.3 core and bore the block to 3.898” and use a flat top LS1 piston. Taking the bore from 3.780” to 3.898” really wakes up the platform. This long block is a good choice to replace or upgrade that tired stock 5.3 in your ride. Whether you are wanting stock idle for momma’s grocery getter or some nasty chop for the hot rod, this long block build can get you there on a budget. Take a look at the camshafts we recommend for this build or let us know what camshaft you want in yours. If you plan on adding a power adder down the road you should consider upgrading to one of our Street/Street combinations with forged rods and pistons. Naturally Aspirated with a small cam (214/220, .525/.525, 107 LSA) this combination made 496HP/479TQ and with the upgrade to the FED Boostline Cylinder Heads made over 500HP. Dyno Graphs are below. With a larger cam and/or power adder selection these heads will really provide great HP/Dollar!
