Hey there :-)
Here's a small recording of me playing a section of the solo from Guns N' Roses' November Rain - using the Boss GT-1 for both effects and preamps/cabinets.
The guitar is a Cort M520, which really did a great job of getting the tone close :-)
When I get the time, I'll work out more patches and recordings like this one, and hopefully be able to share them with those who may be interested :-)
