Boston Public Radio airs from 11-2PM Monday through Friday, and we are live from the Boston Public Radio nearly every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Mayor Wu joins in person 11-12 for ask the mayor. Juliette Kayyem joins in person to discuss Trump's posturing on Gaza, and attempts within the government to shield the government from DOGE. Ashish Jha joins in person to discuss the Trump administration's all out assault on science and health: US exiting WHO, freezing overseas aid, halts to NIH research, and recalls of CDC research Sy Montgomery zooms in to talk about the season of love in the animal world — ahead of Valentine's day — it's hot and heavy season for foxes, skunks, coyotes, racoons, mink, and barred owls in New England. We'll talk about the various turn-ons in the animal kingdom: porcupines dance, hares go mad and pee on each other, sharks bite each other (because they have no hands, says Sy) Also, the prevalence of same-sex dalliances in the animal kingdom.
