Player escapes a dangerous situation while being chased by Max, who is enraged over Nugget's betrayal. Max transforms into a monstrous kaiju-like form, threatening Player and Nugget on a rooftop. Nugget tries to reason with Max, leading to an emotional showdown between friends. As the fight progresses, Player helps Nugget by tossing him a symbolic cowboy hat, which gives Nugget the confidence to overpower Max. Through music, they resolve their differences, and Max returns to normal, reuniting with Nugget in the end.
