Branch circuit breaker that trips
In this video, I'm going to explain some of the reasons why your branch circuit breaker trips and your GFCI switches stay on. A branch circuit breaker that trips or trips very often happens in an electrical installation. The causes are sometimes very diverse. In this video, I explain some electrical causes why your branch circuit breaker trips. Before carrying out an electrical fault finding, it is very important to know the basics of your installation. If you are in this situation and you cannot solve your problem, you can check the playlist named Differential Failure. In your electrical installation, it happens that it is your branch circuit breaker or general subscriber differential circuit breaker which trips and the differential switches or differential circuit breakers remain on. In the video, I show you 5 cases why your subscriber circuit breaker is tripping.

0:00 - General circuit breaker tripping.
2:59 - 1st case. All current leakage exceeds 500 mA.
07:19 - 2nd case. Selectivity
10:25 - 3rd case. In the old installations, all the neutrals are connected.
13:05 - 4th case. Thunderstorm.
15:01 - 5th case. Circuit breaker.
