Back in January, I uploaded a video about my journey with Huntington's Disease and how my 14-year-old sister was recently put on hospice for her decline due to living with the Juvenile form Huntington's Disease. On Easter Sunday, we lost our girl.
I have really struggled with this news. My sister is and always will be the strongest, bravest young lady I have ever met. After my diagnosis, she promised me she would be with me through my journey, and I know she will still be by my side from heaven.
I selfishly want her here to hold and laugh with, but I am trying to find peace in knowing she is FREE of her illness with Juvenile Huntington's Disease. She can finally run free, sing, and dance again.
