Growing up, the heritage of John Stockley was shrouded in mystery. Born illegitimately to a white British mother and an African-American GI during the Second World War, John never knew who his father was. But in an emotional one-off documentary, Britain’s Secret War Babies, presenter Sean Fletcher helps John to unravel the secrets and lies surrounding his birth and to track down any surviving relatives. John joins us on the sofa to tell us his incredible story.
