BRITISH GRUNT BY THE BUCKET LOAD
90's Triumph's had all the British Grunt you could ever wish for - WHERE HAS THE GRUNT GONE? Please bring it back!
It's a piece of British engineering not seen since the 90's. Back when other countries sent spies to figure why we were so amazing. When our motorcycles enraged other manufacturers with envy. (I made up the last paragraph, probably true though).
This bike makes me proud to be British!
I've had my eye on this bike for a couole of weeks. After a few calls and messages back and forth I decided to take the 1 hour ish trip to go and look at it. As soon as I started the bike I knew it was a keeper. I quickly parted with my money before he changed his mind and rode it home.
What a ride. It was kind of what I expected. Just looking at the Triumph Trident 900 you know it's going to be a weighty, solid beast. The truth is, it's a lighter ride than you'd think.
Coming from the Thunderbird it has some of the same engine characteritics, so I felt a little bit at home.
This one will be coming with me for the little European trip I have lined up soon. It will be tried and tested on the open road. Can't wait.
