If you're new to my channel, I’m Colt Prattes—Broadway performer, coach, and founder of The Broadway Studio. After years of performing on Broadway, I’ve shifted my focus to coaching the next generation of performers. My goal is to give you the tools, tips, and training to break into Broadway and live out your dreams.
How I got here…
2007: Started my Broadway journey in 1st National Tours like High School Musical and A Chorus Line
2009: Made my Broadway debut in West Side Story and joined How 2 Succeed the next year
2011: Began touring with international Pop Star P!NK and started teaching around the world, realizing that sharing my journey and insights could help others follow their dreams
2015: Landed my first TV/FILM job as Johnny Castle in the ABC/LIONSGATE remake of Dirty Dancing and continued working on Broadway and 1st National Tours
2020: Launched The Broadway Studio to bring a real-world education in musical theatre to aspiring artists
2024: Starred in Netflix's The Merry Gentlemen with Chad Michael Murray and re-joined the Broadway company of Aladdin
Today: Play the role of Kassim in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway and dedicated my life to creating a space where performers can learn from my experience and from those who’ve come before us
