Bromeliads are in the same plant family as Pineapple. Most bromeliads (Family Bromeliaceae) bloom only once in their lifetime. In this video, I share what has worked for me to care for and propagate Bromeliea Vriesea. Bromeliad pups won’t flower for 3+ years so be patient after the transplanting and you will be rewarded with beautiful flowers that last 3-6+ months. This can vary depending on the variety and the plant's growing conditions, including temperature and humidity.
