by request from a subscriber. here is an overview of how I converted our factory 4 speed overdrive trans to a more modern 5 speed overdrive out of a 90's f150.
notes. I forgot to mention but you will need to cut and shorten the linkage from the transfer case shifter to the transfer case but this is as simple as measuring, cutting the linkage and running a quick weld across it. if you don't have a welder then a piece of flat stock and a drill press will quickly make you a replacement
