Bruce Trail End to End Round 2! | Day 4 | Part 2 | Jordan Valley to Cave Springs
Rob and I return to Jordan Valley to pick up where we left off and chew away some more kilometers as we get closer to wrapping up the Niagara section of the Bruce Trail.
We had some whacky weather back home - warmer temps then snow storms, freezing rain... We weren't sure what we were in for when we got to the trail and where we had parked at Louth Conservation Area, it was pretty mucky. But the first leg of our hike was a long roadside walk - so that made it easy going... at first.
We dove into the trees and were pleasantly surprised that the trail conditions were as good as they were. But that changed as we approached Balls Falls and both Rob and I took a tumble as we tried to navigate a sheet of ice that was the trail. After dusting ourselves off we hooked up our crampons and had a very good time making our own tracks in the ice. Check it out!!!
