ERPM=RPM×Gear Ratio
RPM=kV×Voltage
ERPM=(kV×Voltage)×Gear Ratio
Example: If a motor has a kV rating of 1000 and you apply 12 volts, the RPM would be: RPM = 1000 RPM/V × 12 V = 12000 RPM RPM=1000RPM/V×12V=12000RPM If the gear ratio is 2:1, then: ERPM = 12000 RPM × 2 = 24000 ERPM ERPM=12000RPM×2=24000ERPM
