Former Infosys CFO TV Mohandas Pai has requested a set of big reforms in the upcoming budget, which is scheduled to be announced in February 2025.

Pai has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make Budget 25-26 “a year of Big Reforms.” He also expressed the industry's frustration with tax authorities. With expected tax regime simplification to be introduced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Pai also asked the government to revise the tax slabs to ease the tax burden on the middle class.
