Kaisertown crews alerted for a structure fire with possible persons trapped. Engine 35 on scene with a 2 story dwelling with heavy fire on 1st floor rear and a baby still inside. B-46 on scene with heavy fire in rear and requests and extra 1&1 for manpower. Attack crews make entry from front door towards rear where the stairs were located. Crews unable to make stairs due to them being burned out. Crews quickly started to access 2nd floor from a front porch for a V.E.S. As extra crews arrived Engine 32 made access via a rear yard from Weimar st with a hand line and exposure line. Truck 10 crews started to vent roof as the fire now well into 2nd floor and through the roof. The balance of a 2nd Alarm was dispatched With heavy fire still in the rear. A 1 story garage is now well involved and E-32's attack line was used to keep the fire from further spreading. 2 victims were found on the 2nd floor near the front of the house. Extensive overhaul was required.
