Warning, HIGH VOLTAGE! The tuning variable capacitor has about 200 volts potential, that's why I'm using a wooden knob!! Other parts of the transmitter develop over 600 volts potential. Use extreme caution while building and operating the transmitter. My purpose is to transmit to the radios in my house this good quality audio. If you're planning on running your own AM radio station the Ramsey kit model AM25 may suit your needs. Many schools and low power AM broadcasters use this transmitter. And in the USA low power AM broadcasters are required to have a license. The end user is responsible for complying with all FCC rules & regulations within the US, or any regulations of their respective governing body. http://www.richardmcwhorter.com/AM_Transmitter/ STATION QRP http://www.stationqrp.com/
