I built this hugelkultur bed from completely free resources. It cost me nothing but some sweat equity! It will rest over winter (except some garlic planted at one end) and be ready for growing wonderful food next spring. Hugelkultur beds are wonderful for building the soil and a perfect way to go if you are on a tight budget like us, and don't have a lot of money to invest in building garden beds.
