Check out my personal project! 3D printed 2.5m wingspan twin boom UAV. This project is divided into different stages and phases including: Aircraft Conceptual, Preliminary, & Detail Design 0:00 UAV Preview 0:54 CADD Modelling 2:45 CFD Simulations 3:26 Flight simulations & Performance analysis 5:16 Tuning & 3D Printing 5:44 Assembly & Avionics Integration 7:34 Mold Design and Printing 7:56 Carbon fiber wet layup 8:57 Maiden flight test My primary goal is to design a UAV that i can use for fun and recreation because designing UAVs and flying RC planes is my hobby and passion. For the design requirement, i wanted a UAV that I can easily modify and customize so i designed it in a modular way where i can easily replace a single part and implement design changes. This also makes repairs easy in case of damage. I also wanted a UAV that I could easily transport and assemble in the field, so i designed the wings to be easily installed and removed. Hope you like it! Let me know what you think! 😊 Project Start: June 2024 Maiden flight: August 22, 2024 If you like to see more 3D Printed UAVs in the future, please subscribe to my channel! #uav #3dprinting #additivemanufacturing #SolidWorks #rcplane #aircraftdesign #aerospace #testflight
