The weather was perfect, and the snow ideal for building a shelter. Instead of a classic igloo, I decided to go for a four-sided snow pyramid. Theoretically, I should be able to create more interior space with less snow and utilize the space better than with a round shape. This worked well, and I actually had a lot of space, as the steeper walls lose less room.
However, the heat circulation wasn't as good as with a classic igloo, as the heat tended to gather at the top. Still, thanks to my small wood stove, it was comfortably warm.
Thanks for watching!
