More progress has been made on the Modular Model Railway and with a lot fo the ballast going down in the previous episode it was time to take care of one area I had left completely. That is the shed area and I've decided I wanted to have concrete hardstanding for this with the track inset into the surface.
Originally I was planning on using filler for this but after a bit of experimentation I settled on using DAS Clay instead, which was much easier to use and produced a smoother result. With the DAS Clay all down and a bit of paint to give it a more concrete appearance it's looking much better... but will the locos still run now that the rails are inset into the clay?
