This video documents the process of building a firewood storage shed. Beginning with site clearing, layout and placing the foundation. Then, the posts are plumbed and secured, allowing the beams to be placed. The 6x6 beams were milled from native logs on the property, and were cut to twice the length capacity of the available sawmill. Next, the rafters and fascia were installed, accompanied by the strapping, blocking and finally the sheet metal roofing. The last step included milling and installing the 1x5 siding. A second video showcasing the final siding, trim and finishing touches will accompany this video to complete the build.
