In 2025, Albert Park is getting a makeover!
Each year, Albert Park transforms from a public park into one of the world's premiere race tracks and while the team works year-round to improve the on and off track experiences for fans, 2025 marks the year that Albert Park receives one if it's most significant facelifts.
In 2025, we're taking fans inside the Australian Grand Prix Corporation for a behind-the-scenes look into what it takes to build Albert Park, spotlighting the people involved in bringing Formula 1® to life in Melbourne and the considerations and planning that goes into to delivering the best fan experience possible.
This is episode 2 of our four part series, Track to Triumph we're taking a deep dive into what it takes to build Albert Park.
In this episode we focus on precincts. With four (4) marquee precincts set to elevate the experiences fans can have between races, our 2025 precincts designed to make sure there's something for everyone.
For motorsport lovers, there's MOTORSPORT STRAIGHT, with access to the Porsche and Supercars Paddocks, a celebration of the 75th year of Formula 1®, historic car displays and the biggest motorsport brands in the world.
For kids and families, there's PITSTOP PARK, with rides, games and plenty to see and do for kids of all sizes - that means Mums and Dads too.
The heart of Albert Park transforms into MELBOURNE JUNCTION, showcasing the best of Melbourne in a bespoke experience that's built for comfort and and delivering a touch of class, as only Melbourne can.
Finally, our marquee zone for blockbuster entertainment is LAKESIDE. Headlined by the Crown Lakeside Festival, this is the space for the coolest bars, art installations and of course, live music every night.
Our precincts are available to all ticket holders, and we encourage everyone coming to Albert Park in 2025 to explore our new circuit.
