This is a video documenting the process of building an off-the-grid cabin located over a mile from the nearest road. Basic carpentry skills are needed, but photos document how most of this was accomplished. The cabin's sole source of power is solar. The cost of this build was about $15,000 but there was no labor charges as it was self-built.
