Understanding vertical load path analysis / load run downs is very important for structural design. In this video a worked example of a load run down through a simple multi-storey building is carried out. The concepts learnt can then be applied for lateral load path / bracing analysis.
CORRECTION: At 04:20 the load path should be: Floor - Secondary Beam - Primary Beam - Columns (swap secondary and primary around)
