✅ This is our step-by-step guide for growing Beet Microgreens, specifically how to grow Bulls Blood Beet Microgreens and Detroit Mix Beet Microgreens! 🌱👨🌾 However, Beets can be difficult to grow as microgreens due to their seed hulls being extra hard. Luckily, in this video Mandi shows you here trick on how to remove the seed hulls from beet microgreens during the grow and without soaking the seeds!! And if you don't want to create a mix, and you want to either of these two microgreens alone - you can apply the grow method we use in this video to do just that!
In this particular video we chose to use the method where you grow the varieties at the same time on the same tray, and we picked two microgreen varieties that grow at the same rate!! Other option you have is to grow each variety separately, and then on harvest day combine them together to create a Microgreen mix.

Both beet microgreen varieties have the same flavor, which is an earthy beet flavor!! What really sets them apart from each other is their coloration. Bulls Blood Beet microgreens have super red coloration with a green cotyledon that's stunning. Whereas Detroit mix beet microgreens have some stems that are red and others that are yellow.
