Getting wet and green slash brush and wood to burn in a big burn pile. This is a big pile of Manzanita left over from a business I had selling Manzanita branches. It has some old wore out sheets of OSB on top. On top of that is some partly green Douglas fir off cuts from my Woodmizer LT 15 sawmill. Instead of using a drip torch or propane torch and other common things people use to get/piles to burn, I am just using a match and kindling. I think it is good to always be practice in building fires the old fashioned way. That way you are always ready for starting a fire if you need to in an emergency when you may have limited tools. We also get to see how fire resistant OSB is.
