At first I had no idea what I had bought. Turns out this decrepit old pile of junk was once a very nice radio - a Bush VHF 64.
This was, I suppose, the British answer to the excellent German - made radios that were available in the 1950's.
It's a bit early to tell, yet, whether they succeeded in terms of sound quality and performance.
Will I ever get it working properly?
Even if I do, can I fix the broken cabinet and dial glass?
That's anyone's guess!
