How do you measure a cord of firewood? Some people think a cord of firewood is 4x4x8. They are right, but any dimensions that add up to 128 cubic feet of tightly stacked wood are also a cord. That is probably obvious to most, but some people don't understand that 4x4x8 are not the only dimensions that can be a cord. After making a little fun of those people, I will show how to measure firewood to find out how much you have.
