**Please keep in mind this does not factor in the option of purchasing resale. You can definitely purchase a DVC membership for a lower cost as compared to purchasing directly through Disney. I also did not address the option of selling your points the years you may not go to Disney. That’s another great option, and that money could of course go towards paying your annual dues. Personally, it would still be too much to keep up with for someone only going every 2 or 3 years. But again, this is totally just my opinion :)
