BYD is speeding up the arrival of the smart driving era, launching 21 models with smart driving systems in a sweeping move.
The company announced at a vehicle intelligence strategy presentation that smart driving features will be offered across its entire model lineup, including their most affordable BYD models.
The company calls its smart driving system "God's Eye," and similar to its body control system DiSus, it has different branches called DiPilot.
DiPilot 600 (God's Eye-A) uses three LiDARs and is mainly used by ultra-luxury sub-brand Yangwang.
DiPilot 300 (God's Eye-B) which uses one or two LiDARs and is mainly used in the Denza brand and some BYD premium cars.
DiPilot 100 (God's Eye-C) uses Cameras, Radar and Ultrasonic Sensors (no LiDAR).
How much does it cost? What markets will it be offered in? How does God's Eye compare to Tesla?
BYD also announced DeepSeek integration is being developed and will appear on future vehicles and in their cloud services.
