On June 10, 2022, American folk band, Caamp, joined us at the Leon Loft for an intimate live performance and interview with Acoustic Cafe's, Rob Reinhart.
This was Caamp’s first time at the Loft and their first time performing live on Acoustic Cafe. Caamp performed songs from their new album, “Lavender Days” (released June 24, 2022) including “Believe”, “Penny, Heads Up”, and “Apple Tree Blues.” They also performed select requests by Leon Loft audience members, including one from 10-year-old superfan Sawyer, who requested “Moonsmoke” as their final song. Lead singer Taylor Meier responded with “Let’s go!...Kid’s got taste!”
In between songs, Caamp discussed reevaluating what is important during the COVID-19 pandemic, healing through music, working with producer Brad Cook on their latest album Lavender Days, and striving to not be “boxed in” with their creative expression.
