This is a cab view of the Tama Toshi Monorail, which has a 16.0 km line in the west of Tokyo. In this video, the monorail runs 14.5 km from Tamagawa Josui Station to Tama Center Station, heading north to south.
In the west of Tokyo, commuter towns are spread out, and radial railways are built starting from Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ikebukuro in the city center. These railways run east to west. The Tama Toshi Monorail was built in the north-south direction and plays a role in connecting these railways. Among the stations recorded in this video, it connects with other railways at Tamagawa Josui Station, Tachikawa Kita Station, Takahatafudo Station, Tama Dobutsu Koen Station, and Tama Center Station.
Between Takahatafudo Station and Tama Dobutsu Koen Station, the Keio Electric Railway tracks run parallel, and you can see the tracks in the lower left. --I was lucky enough to see a train running by-- but just before the end of the line, Tama Center Station, you can see an Odakyu Line train running above ground. アクセスありがとうございます。多摩都市モノレールの前面展望玉川上水→多摩センターです。2024年10月撮影
乗っていて気持ちの良い路線でした。乗務員さんもハキハキしていました。玉川上水駅以北がないのは御容赦を!
