Cactus House | Part 1 THE BUILD

Welcome to the magical world of pottery (and chaos)! In this video, I’m hand-building a whimsical ceramic house designed to be the perfect cozy home for a cactus. Because what’s cuter than a tiny house full of tiny spiky plants? It’s been a wild week here in Michigan—temps have hit a bone-chilling -20°F, and my kids have been home with me all week thanks to snow days. Let’s just say the real challenge isn’t the clay...it’s staying sane while little humans run wild around the house. (Send snacks. And maybe wine?) Unfortunately, because of this Arctic tundra we’re calling home right now, I can’t fire up the kiln until next week when things warm up. So hang tight!
