In this tutorial I will be demonstrating a baked marble suncatcher and adapting the design to create a gemstone cage pendant.
The baked marbles are made by baking glass marbles in a hot oven for approximately 20 minutes and then plunging immediately into ice water. This process creates cracks inside the marble making stunning rainbow features.
The suncatchers look really pretty when hanging in a window using invisible nylon thread.
The pendants are ideal for caging small tumbled stones.
