In this lesson, you will learn how to calculate the mean, the median, and the mode of a data set. We will also discuss how to interpret these value and how to know which way to calculate the central value of a data set. The mean is the mathematical average the data, the median is the value of the data in the middle of the data set, and the mode is which is the data points occurs most often. By understanding what each of these mean, we can determine when and how to use these concepts.
