In this lesson, you will learn how to work with percentages using their decimal equivalents. In order to calculate the percentage of a number, we will first convert the percentage into a decimal, then we will use this decimal equivalent to multiply by the number. It is usually easier to use the decimal form of a percent to solve problems.
